What types of products does Legado Ibérico offer?

At Legado Ibérico we produce hams, shoulders, cured meats (chorizo, salchichón, loin), sliced products and whole pieces. We also offer fresh Iberian pork: secreto, presa, loin and burgers.

Jamón comes from the pig’s hind leg, while paleta comes from the front leg. Paleta has a more intense flavour, but jamón yields more product.

The white seal identifies a “cebo” Iberian ham, which comes from pigs raised on farms and fed natural feed, such as cereals and legumes. This system guarantees traceability and quality according to Iberian regulations.

No, our products are gluten-free and therefore suitable for people with intolerance or coeliac disease.

It is a source of high-quality protein, rich in oleic acid (a healthy fat), B vitamins (B1, B6, B12, and folic acid), and minerals such as iron, zinc, magnesium, and phosphorus.

Storage and consumption

How should I store a ham or shoulder at home?

Once opened, cover the cut surface with the ham’s own fat or a clean cloth. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct light.

Keep them in the fridge and take them out a few minutes before eating so they reach room temperature and improve in flavour and texture.

Whole pieces can last for months. Sliced and cured meats have a date on the packaging and, once opened, should be consumed within a few days.

Cut thin slices and serve at room temperature (20–25 °C). They go well with toasted bread, breadsticks or a light wine.

Yes, if it’s sliced and properly packaged. However, it’s best enjoyed fresh to preserve all its qualities.

It’s a natural process in cured hams. You can remove it easily with a dry cloth or by gently rubbing with sunflower oil.

We offer highly prized cuts such as secreto, presa, loin and our burgers. They come from Iberian pigs raised with the same quality standards as our cured products.

Thanks to its marbled fat, it’s very juicy. It can be grilled, barbecued or oven-cooked. Avoid overcooking to preserve its flavour.
